1) a) The difference between discount and sale price is that discount is the amount of money you subtract from the regular price and the sale price is the total amount.
b) This is how you caculate these 2 amounts:

50% of 200

change the 50% into a decimal and multiply it by 200
which looks like this:

.50x200= 100

2) a) 50% of 70

70/2 equals 35 so the answer is 35

so therefore 50% of 70 = 35

b) 35% of 80

change the percent into a decimal

0.35x80 = 28

just do it on a caculator or in your head it's easy!
