Answer for You call this homework! (just bored so i did it anywayz)

Discount is the amount that gets subtracted from the regular price. Sale price is like the regular price but minus the discount.

Example
If a $100.00 jacket had a 50% discount, then you would multiply 0.5 by 100.

So 0.5 x 100 = 50

$50.00 is your discount. Then you would subtract the discount price from the regular price.

$100 - $50 = $50

So then you would have to pay $50.00 which is the sale price.

50% of 70 = 35
Just divide 70 by 2, because 50% is also known as 1/2.

35% of 80 = 28

100 = 80

10 = 8
10 = 8
