### Collecting Like Terms

Today in class, we talked about the magic of COLLECTING LIKE TERMS.(rainbow)

4x + 6x = 20

You would add like terms, to simplify;

*4x + 6x (just add the numbers, because the variable will always be the same).*

*Now, with that you would cancle out, but what you do to one side, you must do to the other, So your left with one variable;*

*10x = 20*

/10 /10

x = 2

Now, a bit harder;

5x - 3 + 4x = 24

add; 9x - 3 = 24

cancel; 9x - 3 = 24+3

/9 +3 /9

One variable left; x = 3

That's the just. Enjoy.

Great Post. You just have a few spelling mistakes. Just remember to spell check before posting. ;)
