Marcio's Scribe

Today in class we made another Hamburger/Hotdog/whatever thingy. We covered Collecting like terms and most importantly, transposing.

Transposing is really easy once you learn.

6x + 5 = 2x +13

(From the notes)

"You transpose when there are variables on both sides of =

Move the variables to the left hand side (Letters Left)"

6x - 5 = 2x + 13
-2x +5 -2x +5

so that leaves...

4x = 18
/4 /4

then, you just do standard stuff, and your left with one variable and a number

x = 4.5 ! =D
