Growing Geometry Post

Day 1

To find the area of a rectangle you multiply length times width. (Formula L x W = A) To find the area of a triangle you multiply base times height and divide it by 2. (Formula : B x H = A) The relationship between the triangle and a rectangle is the triangle will always be part of a rectangle. For example, two triangles equal a rectangle.

Day 2

On day two we worked on different shapes and parallelograms.
