## 3 Comments:

1) I ate 3/4 of ham and ate 2/3 of hotdogs from the fridge. How much did I eat?

3/4 + 2/3

= 9/12 + 8/12

= 17/12

= 1 5/12

2) 5 2/3 of ham was stolen from the fridge, I stole 2 1/2. How much more do I need to steal back?

5 2/3 - 2 1/2

= 5 4/6 - 2 3/6

= 3 1/6
