### Korkie's fraction growing post

**1)Use a picture and text to show that you understand what expressing fractions in lowest terms means.**

Korina has a pizza and cut by 4 but 3 were eaten. Myla has a pizza and cut by 3 but 2 were eaten. Korina's pizza and Myla's, how many pizza'z altogether? ]

b) write a word problem that involves subtracting two mixed numbers.

Harbeck has 3 4/5 chocolate bars. Penner secretly eat 1 2/5 of it. So now, how many chocolate bars were left?

3/4 = 9/12

2/3 = 8/12

Add 9/12 and 8/12

Answer: 17/ 12

b.)

k well since its the same denominator all you have to do is subtract the whole to the other whole number, numerator and numerator and kepp the denominator

the answer would be 2 and 2/5... right? i hope so.
