1)Use a picture and text to show that you understand what expressing fractions in lowest terms means.

2) How are improper fraction and mixed numbers the same.

3) Find a website or blog that explains how to create equivalent fractions or write fractions in lowest terms. Create a link to it and a description of what the site has to offer.

that site shows how to convert the equivalent fraction into an equivalent fraction.

http://www.gomath.com/exercises/ReducingToLowestTerms.php that site explains ho to add or subtract fractions with pictures and figures!.

4) a) write a word problem that involves adding these two fractions with denominators of fourths and thirds and your answer is improper fraction.

Korina has a pizza and cut by 4 but 3 were eaten. Myla has a pizza and cut by 3 but 2 were eaten. Korina's pizza and Myla's, how many pizza'z altogether? ]

b) write a word problem that involves subtracting two mixed numbers.

Harbeck has 3 4/5 chocolate bars. Penner secretly eat 1 2/5 of it. So now, how many chocolate bars were left?

5) Go to three people's growing posts and answer their fraction problems by leaving comments, One of the three people cannot be from your homeroom.

k well since its the same denominator all you have to do is subtract the whole to the other whole number, numerator and numerator and kepp the denominator
the answer would be 2 and 2/5... right? i hope so.
